Wallpaper love

I recently dropped by Secondhand Rose, a fantastic shop with an archive of vintage wallpapers, in New York city. It gave me some fab ideas for new projects in the works....

Check out some of my other wallpaper loves over on my pinterest page like this hand painted chinoiserie mural by artist Mark Sands.

Pattern box

I'm truly honored to be a part of this curated postcard set by New York's Textile Arts center. Each pattern box holds 100 designs by 10 contemporary textile designers and illustrators.

They make really fabulous gifts, you can get yourself a copy over at Princeton Architectural Press.

Some blog loving.

I was pretty slow to arrive at the blog scene, this site got me hooked and continues to be one of my faves.

So as you can imagine, my heart skipped a little to see my Vela scarf in Joslyns super chic home!

New stockist: Spartan

This time last year I was in Austin, Texas. It's one of my favorite cities in the US and if I ever wanted to relocate, Austin would be high on my list of places to live.

Whilst I was there I visited Spartan, a beautifully curated store offering well-crafted, practical objects. I could have bought my christmas/ birthday presents for the next few years from here, for all my friends and family, the goods are just that special.

I'm so pleased to have my scarves for sale in this stunning space, in the company of such creative, talented brands. Thank you Spartan store!

Here are some of my top pics from the store at the moment:

Sight Unseen competition

A month ago I was thrilled to hear that I was a winner picked by Sight Unseen for the promotion of design crowd-sourcing site, BYCO.
Pretty exciting stuff, it meant that my design, DEALTRY, would be going into production on the BYCO site. You can read more about the great ideas behind the micro-financing store BYCO here.

As of today, my design for a duvet cover is available over on the BYCO shop!
The duvet is available in Twin, Queen and King sizes, and has a different print on both sides! Go get one quick :)

Florals for textiles at Dobbin Mews

Such a talented bunch of ladies took my class a few weeks ago, it was a pleasure painting and chatting with everyone. The event was held at the studio of my gracious friends and colleagues, Nicolette Owen and Fay Andrada, who are based across the way from my own studio space, at Dobbin Mews.
A mix. My painting and real flowers from the class
Below are a few of the photos taken by Dana, who writes about the day over on her blog, I hope you'll go take a look!
